Hi I am Prince’s momma. Prince has been struggling to eat for the past 4 months and has been seen by the vet a few times with no improvement. He throws up everyday and has been picky on what he will eat and whines like he’s in pain constantly. We finally went to an emergency vet and had a specialist see him to do an ultrasound. They unfortunately found 3 masses, 1 in his stomach and 2 nodules on his liver. He is going through surgery to see if it’s possible to remove them. There are no good options as these surgeries can be very difficult but it’s the only chance he has at survival. They also said he will most likely have gi problems for the rest of his life. The ultrasound visit ended up being $800, and the surgery is $4800. Prince is my best friend and my shadow. He is only 5 years old and I cannot imagine my life without him. We did get insurance on him, however it is too soon to have kicked in and they most likely won’t cover any of this because of it being pre existing.

They are taking biopsies to see if they are cancerous, we are praying they aren’t.
