I find this very hard to do.  I am asking for assistance for my son, Michael Brooks. My 35 year old son, began experiencing "odd" symptoms on 8/12, and then on 8/27 was diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer.  He had been at his job for over 1 year, promoted to Manager, and was planning to apply for insurance, during open enrollment in Oct. 2019.  While I have applied for Medi-Cal, SSDI, SSI, Medicaid, on his behalf, he needs help.   The monies will be administered by me, on his behalf and for his benefit.  We had our first appointment at UCSF on 10/31, where he was informed that he was a "prime" candidate for clinical trials, however that is subject to more scans, which are targeted for week of 11/4.  While UCSF is pushing through emergency Medi-Cal, he has other expenses until SSDI or SSI come through, which can take months.  This is very uncomfortable for me, but I am doing on his behalf.  Thank you.
