Update 9/18/25
Otis had his surgery yesterday morning and is now resting comfortably at home. He had what’s called an intussusception of his intestines. Thank you to everyone who has donated to help my boy. Thank you for all the prayers, shares, and calls to check in. I appreciate you so much!
This year has been rough for my pups. In April my senior girl Isis got pancreatitis and after spending thousands on vet bills, sadly she did not survive. Today when I came home at lunchtime my sweet bulldog Otis was panting heavily and pacing so I immediately brought him into the vet where they did X-ray and revealed his intestines were full of air which is not normal. Additional testing was done and it has been determined he has a blockage either a foreign body or possibly a mass. The surgery itself will be between $3600-5000 on top of the costs from today’s appointment which was over $1000. These are 2 major expenses that I am not prepared for back to back like this. So I am turning to my animal loving friends in hopes you might be able to donate a few dollars to help my boy. Otis came to me as a foster 3 1/2 years ago through Furever Friendz. He was owner surrendered to us because his parents were getting divorced and no one wanted him. After seeing how sad he was being passed around I thought it was in his best interest to keep him and give him his forever home.
Thank you in advance for any help .
