Hi, my name is Richmond Mendoza, and I’m an 8th grade student hoping to join my classmates on a once-in-a-lifetime educational trip to Washington D.C., New York City, Philadelphia, and Williamsburg.

This journey will bring history to life — from standing where our founding fathers once stood, to exploring museums, landmarks, and universities that will expand my understanding of the world and my future. It’s more than a trip — it’s a chance to grow, learn, and make lifelong memories.

Hello, I am an 8th grader from Oregon. My school is hosting an educational event where I can take a weeklong trip to the East Coast to learn about Colonial America and the American Revolution. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me, and all of my friends are going. I love learning about the past, and this really interests me. I love the historical aspect, and I would really like to expand my education and make lifelong memories.
