VMCVM Casino Night 2023

Donation protected
Each year, the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine’s Alpha Psi, Omega Tau Sigma, and American Veterinary Medical Association student chapters host a charitable “Casino Night” event − VMCVM’s largest philanthropic event of the year. The event will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023.
All proceeds raised by the event are given directly to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital on the Blacksburg campus. As in past years, proceeds from the event will go towards the Compassionate Care Fund, which provides necessary veterinary care for the pets of hospital clients who cannot otherwise afford it. Additionally, in partnership with the Public Veterinary Practice Club at VMCVM, a portion of the proceeds will be given to the Wildlife Ward, which provides emergency treatment and rehabilitation for wildlife patients.
Casino Night encourages student participation and sets a precedent for veterinary compassion and interest in community service. We are seeking philanthropic partners to contribute to the success of our event. Your investment in Casino Night, the Compassionate Care Fund, and the Wildlife Ward can ensure an overall increased level of care for the community, pets, and wildlife patients in need.
With this aim, veterinary students, faculty, and guests are invited to participate in an event that not only encourages well-being and a break from the classroom or clinic, but also raises money for a great cause for the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, the College of Veterinary Medicine, and the community.
