Camden's Kids - Cancer Foundation

Our son Camden (7) was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer (Ewings Sarcoma) earlier this year and is in the midst of a very difficult and aggressive treatment plan that includes chemo, radiation and way too many hospital stays over a 9+ month period of time.
While we are blessed to be surrounded by such great medical facilities, family and friends, there are many other pediatric oncology patients who are less fortunate. Cancer is a horrible disease and seeing young children battling its various forms is heart wrenching. Our family is committed to helping end this disease (or at least making the horrible treatment process a little less horrible through various forms of support for less fortunate families and children). With this mission in mind, we are in the process of setting up a foundation in Camden's honor.
The Gormley Family has benevolently decided to help raise money for Camden's foundation through their annual holiday party. We unfortunately are not yet far enough along with forming the foundation to allow for direct contributions into it, but we do have lawyers and accountants helping with this effort. Any funds raised through this GoFundMe site will be rolled directly into Camden's foundation and will be augmented by additional future fundraising efforts.
Camden's battle with cancer has been challenging for us all, but it is so unfair that any child should have to go through such an ordeal. Camden is proving to be a much tougher kid than we give him credit for!
The tremendous support from everyone has been extremely humbling throughout this continuous journey.
