Help Support Nick’s Recovery After a Devastating Motorcycle Accident
On April 12, 2026, Nick’s life changed in an instant.
After finishing his night shift at Rhode Island Hospital, Nick was on his way home when a vehicle turned left into his path, causing a serious motorcycle accident. In a matter of moments, everything changed.
Nick sustained severe injuries, including an open femur fracture, a broken kneecap, and a fractured tibia. He has already undergone two surgeries, with metal rods and plates placed in his leg, and is facing additional procedures. His recovery will be long and difficult, including time in an inpatient rehabilitation facility to regain strength and mobility.
Nick is a devoted father to his 3-year-old son and a loving stepfather to his 15-year-old daughter. He is also a dedicated nursing student and a proud Army combat veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. Nick has always been someone who shows up for others—through his service to his country, his commitment to caring for patients, and the love he gives his family every day.
Now, he needs that same support.
This accident has created an unexpected financial burden. Between extensive medical care, multiple surgeries, time away from work, and the need for inpatient rehabilitation, the challenges ahead are significant—not just for Nick, but for his entire family.
Support is being sought to help cover:
- Medical expenses and ongoing recovery costs
- Inpatient rehabilitation and therapy
- Lost income during the healing process
- Transportation and hospital-related needs
- Support for his family during this time
Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference. If donating isn’t possible, sharing this page is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and for standing with Nick and his family during this incredibly difficult time.
