Hermosillo Family

One of our beloved Medea Creek Middle School teachers has had to move her family out of her home days before Christmas. The home of Coach Frances Hermosillo was flooded from the rain on Wednesday night when more than 2 inches of rain fell in just one hour in Oxnard. The water main in front of her home was overwhelmed and the flood caused severe damage to part of her home. Her two cars were also totaled from the flood. While her automobiles were insured, her homeowners insurance will not cover the flooding repairs to her home. Any help we can give Frances and her family to repair the flood damage is greatly appreciated.
