My name is Maddy Cohen and I'm a senior at Princeton University.
Because Jodi Picoult '87 will be our Class Day speaker in just 49 days, I decided I should probably read all 23 of her novels so I would know what's going on during her speech! That's 10,288 pages - 209 pages a day.
I'd like YOU to sponsor me in this endeavor! All donations will go to First Book, an organization that provides books to children and schools in need.
What you can do:
-Pledge to donate an amount per book I read. $1 per book will be $23 if I get all the way. However, since there is a good chance I will only get part of the way, $2 or $3 per book would be great! Do so by emailing [email redacted] or contacting me on Facebook with the amount you would like to pledge. I will contact you on Class Day to make your donation through this page! I will update the information on Facebook to reflect how many people have pledged to donate so you can watch the campaign grow!
OR
-Donate a set amount, like $10, $20, or $50 to the campaign through this page.
I have set the campaign goal at $2,300 - the amount of money we can raise if 100 people pledge $1 per book. First Book could use this to donate over 750 books to underserved schools.
You do not need to make a GoFundMe account to donate money, and there are no additional fees on top of the money you donate. However, if you'd like to donate money through another means such as cash or Venmo, we can organize that! All money will, of course, go directly to First Book - I borrowed all the books from the library, so no costs on my end!
