Hi, I am Freddie

On the 30th August, I will be tackling a last man standing ultra, in doing so, I will also be raising money for The British Heart Foundation.

Why?

2 years ago, my Dad contracted a life threatening bacteria called Endocarditis, which attacked his aortic valves and nerves in his heart, causing him to undergo major open heart surgery. Endocarditis info here.

With a prosthetic valve and a pace maker later, he is back to on the mend.

I want to use this opportunity to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, to continue their research into this deadly bacteria and as a thank you to their ongoing work, which resulted in my Dads life being saved. As well as use the opportunity to push my limits.
