My name is Braden Becker, I am a Professional Golfer based at the Mandurah Country Club in Western Australia. Over the last three years I have been studying as a Trainee professional, to become a fully qualified coach in the sport which I have now finished . The qualifications that I had achieved are, Certificate II in Sport, Certificate III in Sport, Diploma of Sports Coaching which makes me a Professional Golf Coach recognised by the Australian Sports Commission. I am now a Full Vocational Member of the PGA of Australia  and as mentioned before, a fully qualified golf coach. I have been playing this game since I could walk and I have a huge passion to teach others. I love to pass on my knowledge of the game. A professional tournament there are four rounds of 18 holes. After 36 holes (2 rounds), if you do not make "the cut" you do not earn money. Making the cut is my first step in any tournament and this is the harsh reality of being a professional. I am currently funding my trips and competitions by coaching individuals and undertaking group lessons at Mandurah County Club. I also work 3-4 days a week at the Golf Club in the Pro-shop. When I am home, which at the moment isn’t that often, I organise other means of fundraising and  prizes at the club to also raise extra funds. The members love the prizes and are always fantastic with helping me. The money I raise will be used towards funding my event entry fees, flights (domestic and international), accommodation, car hire, food and other golfing expenses such a course books and caddies. I am needing funds immediately as my tournament schedule is throughout the year. This year I will be competing and working towards: a number of Pro-Am events throughout Australia, I will also be participating in all of the available Australasian tour events as I managed to receive my Tour card at the Australasian Tour school in December 2018. Not having to worry about the financial side of my golf will allow me to play my best without stress or worry. It will be a huge weight off my shoulders.
