INTRODUCTION: My name is Barbara Cozart and I've known Sam & Laura Lee Rose for almost 13 years. They are some of our closest and dearest friends. And many of you reading this feel just like me - I would do pretty much anything for them! They have done for me what I could not do for myself. They have poured themselves out to hundreds of people and I know many of you have been impacted by these 2 precious people in life changing ways. 

The CHALLENGE: On Monday, 3/8/16, Laura Lee received a diagnosis of Infitrating mammary carcinoma and had to have a partial mastectomy on Wednesday, 3/10 - the surgery went well and they were able to remove all the malignant tissue. At this point it is assumed to be Stage 2 breast cancer but the Pathology report does not come in until next Friday, 3/18/16. At that point there will be a more definite stage diagnosis. She went home today, 3/11/16 and will be home for 2 weeks, recovering.

The REALITY: Cancer is just a word and the Roses have had great peace, that God has revealed this to heal it. They have been surrounded with much love and support and we're all believing for a complete and ful recovery from this.
The reality is that this is not a free service to them :)
Their insurance thankfully covered 80% of surgery, hospital stay and radiation treatments for 6 weeks still to come. It's unclear at this point if she will have to undergo chemo treatment. If needed, that will be an additional expense.

The RESPONSE: I want to help them and I know there are people out there just like me who would LOVE the opportunity to give back to them. I know they will be blown away by the responses and I know they will cry because of the outpouring they'll receive. Help me bless them for the blessing they have been to us and others! Everything collected in this fund will go to the medical expenses and care for Laura Lee during this time.
