Dave's ADA Compliant Bathroom Remod

This is my younger brother Dave. Many of you know him as Mikey. In 2007, Mikey was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, also known as MS. He has come a long way from being in denial about the diagnosis to currently being an advocate and an inspiration to those fighting MS. He now is proud to spread awareness about MS by sharing stories and experiences and raising funds for local MS charities.
About a year ago we looked into remodeling his bathroom due to the progression of his MS and his restricted mobility. We felt it was appropriate to look into an ADA (Americans with Disiblities Act) compliant roll-in bathtub. With finances and a plan in order, he was ready to have his bathroom worked on and remodeled for his safety. Shortly after this he had a relapse that took him out of work for several weeks and left him with some unforseen medical expenses that put this project on hold.
Two weeks ago while he was getting ready for work, he lost his balance and fell in the shower. Unable to lift himself up and not having the strength in his legs to get up on his own, he was stuck in there for over 2 hours. After getting enough strength and grip, he managed to climb out of the shower and made it to his bed where he stayed for the next few hours.
