This is not an easy post to write, but my family could really use some support right now.

I’m raising funds to help my grandfather, Larry Donner, who recently suffered the unexpected loss of his wife, Kate, after 54 years of marriage.

Larry is a proud veteran who served our country and worked hard his entire life—often holding multiple jobs at once. At age 70, he was forced to retire when his employer of 20 years, Tuesday Morning, went out of business, which also resulted in the loss of his and Kate’s life insurance.

Larry is still paying a mortgage on his home and is the primary caregiver for his disabled daughter. He now relies solely on Social Security and is facing the sudden and overwhelming costs of funeral and burial expenses.

My goal is to help raise $10,000 to cover these immediate expenses and relieve some of the financial stress during this incredibly difficult time. I am doing everything I can to support him long-term, but we could really use help right now.
