Hi, my name is Bruno Balogh. I was born in Budapest though I have lived in Gothenburg, Sweden for nine years but currently, I’m living in Stockholm, Sweden. I am 14 years old and I have fenced for 7 years now and I have very high ambitions. Last year I won the Swedish Championships in the age group U15 even though it was my first year in that category. This year I won the Swedish Championships in the U17 category while still in the U15 category. I will win the Olympics one day, but right now I am taking the first baby steps. To get there I have to train and compete a lot first. I train 5-6 days a week with 2-3 sessions daily. I also compete on a national and international level a lot. During last season, the 2023/2024 season, I was in the U15 category. However, I only competed in the categories U17 and U20 to improve and challenge myself with/against fencers better than me. Last season I competed in 4 ECC (Europen Cadet Circuit) competitions and ended up in 156th place out of 679 fencers in the U17 category. My goals for the upcoming season are to compete at as many European Cadet Circuits as possible. and train internationally with world-class fencers and coaches in Europe to improve and become the best fencer I can become. But now, I ask for your help. I ask for help to afford the costs of these trips and the equipment I need for these events and trips.
