Hello my name is Terra Harris. I’m fundraising for my brother Romarie Harris, who was in a tragic car accident on Monday, January 10,2022. He was found unresponsive as well as the passenger, (who happens to be his best friend) who died at the scene. Romarie was rushed to Memorial Hospital in Savannah,Ga which led him to be in trauma ICU undergoing multiple surgeries. He has to have another surgery done on Monday, January 17,2022 to reconstruct his right shoulder. We don’t know how significant his head injury is, so as of right now he’s in a medically induced coma. We are unsure what his mental state is going to be. However, physically it’s going to take a long recovery to walk again, which can take anywhere from 6 months to a year. His condition right now is critical, but stable. He has no medical insurance as of right now and is going to need medical equipment for when he returns home. The purpose of this fundraiser is to cover the cost of any medical fees and attorney fees (if an attorney needs to be involved) as well as to be able to provide for his kids since he is their sole provider. My mom is unable to be the power of attorney for my brother, due to him not being capable to sign the form. So she has to be the conservatorship and guardianship of my brother and requires other legal fees.This has really affected our family physically,mentally and emotionally. We are grieving the loss of his best friend and praying for the strength of my brother. We are accepting all donations no matter the amount , it’s greatly appreciated during our hard time.
