Hello my name is Charlotte and I'm starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my childhood friend Tomasa. As most of you know, her husband Ben was diagnosed with that awful C word “CANCER” in April. Life expectancy was only given as months in single digits. On Monday, the 23rd of August he was given 2 weeks to 2 months to survive. I am sharing this today asking for you to please donate anything if you can so Tomasa and their daughter Raina can give Ben the funeral that he so deserves. And ease the burden of extra expenses that are arising. Ben has not been able to work since June of 2020 after suffering a TBI (traumatic brain injury) while on a family vacation. Then on top of that, being diagnosed with cancer, all within a year. Tomasa lost her job due to COVID. And at this time she can not work due to her husband declining health. As you may know, funeral expenses are costly, and monies have to be paid up front. And everyday bills are mounting up. So I started this fund so that Tomasa can spend her time with Ben and their daughter and not have to worry or stress about where and how to come up with the monies to cover all the expenses. Ben and Tomasa have always been there to help anyone out in the time of need, so lets be there for them at their time of need. On behalf of my friend I appreciate any help or support.
