Bruce's Medical Fund

Dearest family and friends,

As many of you know, my brother David was born with SMA and has faced many challenges throughout his life.  His strength of character and heart of gold have helped him face every day with optimism and determination to be nothing less than successful in all aspects of life.  
A year ago David and his wife adopted a sweet, beautiful golden retriever named Bruce.  Initially the idea was to train him to become a certified service dog who could be a companion and assistant for my brother.  I'm sure many of you can relate when I say that he quickly became so much more to our family.  
Unfortunately, today we received the tragic news that Bruce has terminal cancer.  He is expected to live comfortably another year with chemotherapy and radiation treatments.  The costs of these treatments will be substantial but our first priority is to ease Bruce's pain while keeping him with us as long as possible.  
We would be incredibly grateful for any help you can offer.
