On Wednesday, December 18th, David was life-flighted to the hospital after being bitten by a 4-foot Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake while out herping with three friends. Unfortunately, the snake spotted him first, and David didn’t see it in time to avoid the bite. The injury required immediate, life-saving care. After receiving 50 vials of antivenom, countless fluids, medications, treatments, and procedures, David is now making a slow but steady recovery.
