Medication Cost

Hello! My name is Amy. I was diagnosed with a very rare disease called pulmonary hypertension brought on by Lupus. My disease has progressed into heart failure where the heart stiffens, making it difficult to get oxygenated blood to my body. The consequences are that I cannot do much physical exertion even with supplemental oxygen.

My cardiologist has prescribed a medication to help my heart function a bit better. While there is no cure for my disease, this medication can help me be a bit more physically active and could help lengthen my life so I can spend valuable time with those I love.

Unfortunately, insurance does not cover all of the medication's cost, leaving me with a $550 copay each month.

I am on disability and have a fixed income. I am unable to cover the co-pay costs and am seeking assistance from the kindness of family, friends, and strangers.

My goal is to raise enough money for the co-pays for a year.
