It is with a heavy heart that my family announces the passing of our beloved Alex. Anyone who knows Alex knows that he’s the most down to earth and caring person no matter what kind of obstacles were thrown into his path. He always strived for what he believed in and to know Alex is to love him whole heartedly. Not only is he loved by his family but also by the poetry community, his second family away from home. Poetry is what he adored and how he expressed himself, it was an engraved part of who he truly was. He wanted to make a difference, leave his mark in this world and if there’s one thing for certain he most definitely did.
