A drunk, wrong way driver on the freeway hit my little brother in an 80+mph head-on collision a little less than a month ago and left him with
- a broken femur (which required surgery to fix, photos below), broken ankle, multiple broken ribs, broken clavicle and a broken sternum
- a concussion
- a car that is completely totaled (see photo below)
- no job & no injury pay
- no phone (crushed in the accident)
- and NOW a life-threatening pulmonary embolism that sent him back to the hospital last night (4/2/26)
He will be unable to walk unassisted for months and cannot work during this time.
Overnight, his life has been turned upside down.
While we hoped insurance would cover the medical costs, we are facing significant gaps, and the financial burden is growing quickly for him and our family.
We are incredibly grateful he survived-but the road ahead is long.
