Support a Family Escaping Domestic Violence

I live with my daughter who is a single mother of two young boys and a victim of domestic violence. Her children's father, and her partner of many years abused everyone in this household physically and mentally for over a decade. She finally gained the courage through God to make the choice to have him arrested and leave him.

Her former partner always had to be in control, and refused to add any of the family to any legal documents including the lease the home that we are currently renting. We have a restraining order issued on him, but since none of us are on the rental contract, we are currently fighting being evicted from our home.

My daughter has done her best to make the best life that she can for her children, but in today's world it's increasingly difficult to make ends meet let alone have emergency funds in place to deal with unforeseen circumstances such as I've discussed.

My family needs a new start. My daughter and her children need a new start. We need to be close to family who actually loves us and wants to help the children grow, especially since they too are victims of this horrible situation and they also lost their sole male role model.

I need to move my family out of this state. We need a fresh start, and distance from the hell that we suffered at the hands of my daughter's former partner. So, I'm asking for help. We need to move our whole household closer to family. The cost of moving nearly cross country is eye widening shocking.
