On Friday, September 11, a member of our family was critically injured during a football game.  We say “family” because our town has banned together to show that we are more than just a city, we are a community of brothers and sisters who love each other and do our best to support one another.  With that being said, this GoFundMe is being set up for the McClendon family.  Micah McClendon is an exceptional young man on and off the football field. He is a bright light to everyone he comes in contact with.  Because of the severity of his injury, the cost for his recovery will be a long road.  Between the surgeries, transportation to and from Nashville, hospital stay, and visits to physical therapy, our Chapel Hill family asks that you give whatever you see fit to support his family as they help return him to his normal walk of life.  Any amount you can contribute will be beneficial to him and his family.
