Alicia is a fabulous woman who has been a friend to so many people in Rochester, NY and beyond. A mother, a dog mom, a social activist, a cancer survivor, supporter of the arts, and all around great human being, Alicia is one of the kindest and most interesting people you'll ever meet. 

In 2017 Alicia fought a battle with rare SRCC cancer of appentical orgin. Things seemed to resolve and she graduated to only needing checkup scans yearly. This is why it hits particularly hard to find out that she is struggling with a diagnosis of Stage 4 SRCC cancer. This aggressive cancer has spread to multiple areas and requires extensive treatment including surgeries, chemo, alternative therapies and HIPEC- a surgical therapy for advanced cancer patients that is not available in Rochester. 

This campaign is designed by friends to help offset the enormous medical costs that she will be facing as she is treated both in Rochester, NY and Baltimore, MD.  

Alicia faces a long battle and numerous treatments in the months ahead, but she is tough and ready.  We've all gotten hugs from Alicia, danced with her, had coffee, always had good conversation and laughs. She has been a great friend to us, now is our time to be there to help her fight.
