District 12 Challenger needs help
We are raising money to help District 12 Challenger Division Little League Inc, to go to the 2019 Little League Challenger Division® Exhibition Game at the Little League Baseball® World Series in Williamsport Pa. Each summer, in August during Championship Saturday of the Little League Baseball® World Series, two local Little League Challenger Division® programs are given the unique opportunity to play in a once-in-a-lifetime game on Volunteer Stadium in the Little League Challenger Division Exhibition Game.
District 12 has been chosen out of over 1000 leagues to play along with a team in Peterborough Canada, in the 2019 Little League Challenger Division® Exhibition Game at the Little League Baseball® World Series in Williamsport Pa. This is the first Challenger team from Massachusetts chosen to play and we could not be more honored.
A little about the Challenger Division - Any individual with a physical or intellectual challenge may participate. If an individual can participate in the traditional Little League Baseball or Softball program with reasonable accommodations, they should do so. The Little League Challenger has 2 divisions which accommodates players ages 4 to 18 and the Senior League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 15 and above (no maximum age).
