Help My Dad Hear Again

Hello, my name is Karla and I’m starting this GoFundMe in hopes that I’ll raise enough money to help my dad hear again.

Since I was little, my dad has dealt with an incurable disease called Ménière's disease. It is a disorder of the inner ear that causes a combination of symptoms including vertigo (severe dizziness), tinnitus (ringing in the ears), hearing loss, and a feeling of fullness or pressure in the ear. These symptoms often come in episodes, although the severity and frequency can vary greatly from person to person. My dad is one of the unlucky people who deal with severe episodes and has had a hard time being able to live his life to its fullest potential. He recently went to the doctors in hope for a chance to gain his hearing back. He was allowed to test hearing aids and experienced what it was like again. But they cost more than either of us can afford. My dad is one of the most generous and kind people I know, and seeing the light inside him dim away has been a terrible experience. He’s waited a long time to get some help, but no doctor has had a promising solution up until the hearing aids. I know he’s still full of life, but his disease causes a lot of stress on him that I hope to take away. If I had the money to pay for this, I would do it 100x, but I’m a student in college trying to find ways to help my dad. So if anyone could donate even a dollar, I would be so appreciative. Thank you.
