Support for The Brown Family -After Tragic, Unexpected Loss
His name was James Aaron Brown. He was only 15 years old, just shy of turning 16 on October 7th.
On Saturday, September 20th, 2025, the world lost a bright light—James was taken from us suddenly and unexpectedly. During his time here, James was truly an angel on earth—kind, gentle, and full of life.
He was born to loving parents, Aaron and Jeanette Brown, and was a caring brother to Hunter, Chelsea, and Hannah. James was a grandchild, a cousin, and a friend to many. His family lived outside of Thedford, Ontario, but their roots run deep in both the Lambton and North Middlesex communities.
James is the kind of friend everyone cherishes—always ready to lend a hand, even if it means getting his jeans dirty in the process. His genuine nature shone through in the ways he was there for others, sharing stories about tractors, or simply enjoying the outdoors. When he was not busy helping out, you would find him off four-wheeling through the mud, fishing by the quiet lakes, or taking late-night drives with the boys. His warmth, loyalty, and down-to-earth spirit made him a truly special person whose kindness leaves a lasting impression on everyone who was around him.
No parent ever expects to face the heartbreak of planning a funeral for their child. Out of love and support for the Brown family, friends have come together to create this page and have established a trust in James’s name at the local bank, accessible to Aaron and Jeanette during this difficult time.
Many have reached out wanting to help. If you truly know this family, you know they are the kind of people who would give you the shirts off their backs to support you—always giving without expecting anything in return.
The funds raised here will be used to help cover funeral expenses, travel, food, and any immediate needs that may arise—needs we may not even be able to foresee at this moment. Any extra funds will be carefully set aside in trust accounts for James’s siblings, to help support them in the days ahead.
If you would like to donate in person, the CIBC branch in Parkhill will receive you and your donation.
Once the funeral arrangements are made, we will share the details here, as we know many of you will want to come together in love and support for this wonderful family in person.
Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your compassion during this profoundly difficult time.
