Help Bring Frank Home

Hello,

My name is Zoii, and pictured above is my father, Frank Brown. I am reaching out on behalf of my family to ask for your help.

On October 20, 2023, my father went to Jamaica to settle the remaining affairs for his mother's passing. One week later, on the night of October 28th, my father unfortunately suffered a hemorrhagic stroke followed by a seizure. Within that same week, he suffered two additional strokes and another seizure leaving him unable to speak with complete right-sided paralysis.

It has been a heartache and extremely stressful time for our entire family right now. Jamaica is an underdeveloped country and the current state of the hospital is ill-equipped, to say the least. As much as they are trying to help, the care he is receiving in the public hospital is not sufficient.

The purpose of the funds raised will be to bring my dad home by medical air ambulance equipped with medical staff to be with his family and receive the care he needs. We are hoping to work quickly to prevent the inevitable of another stroke or a more detrimental event.

My dad is an outgoing, funny, life-of-the-party man who loves to laugh, and this is the only hope we have left to bring him back.

We are extremely grateful for all the prayers and support received. We understand times are tough for everyone so even the smallest donation will help bring us closer to having him home. It's with great sadness that I announce my dad, Frank Brown, has peacefully passed away early this morning in Jamaica. In the coming weeks, Frank will be laid to rest in Jamaica. A memorial service will be held here in BC, details are to be announced.
