My son, James was studying for his PhD @ U CONN in Mathematics. He was doing well, but unfortunately was in a head-on collision in early January. He had bilateral ankle sprains and a left knee contusion. I realize that it doesn't seem that bad, but James was born with Becker's Muscular Dystrophy so this was absolutely devastating for him. He could not walk at all after his accident. He spent over 1 month in rehab and still requires his cane to walk. When he returned to University of Connecticut for his job, he was basically fired. His funding was pulled for the next year. His dream of completing his Mathematics PhD was crushed. Please help my son if you can. He has been pursuing this career for 9 years. Thank you
