On Saturday, February 5th, 2017, my mother, Ronnie Cline, was involved in a serious head-on collision when an oncoming driver swerved into her at 55 mph. Mom was on her way home from work. She suffered from a shattered pelvis, knee and heel. The accident also fractured 3 of her vertebrea. The paramedics had to cut her out of her car and airlift her to the nearest hospital.
Despite her serious injuries, Mom was exceptionally fortunate to make it out of the accident with the injuries she sustained..it could have been a lot worse. The surgeons predict that it will take 12 weeks for her to even be able to get out of bed. She will be restricted to an assisted living facility for that time span, and will hopefully make a full recovery in 12 months.
We are in dire need of help to cover her $10,000 deductible to cover her medical expenses, and hopefully some overflow to offset some of the income she is losing for being out of work for the next several months. This will be an ongoing ordeal for our family for a while, given the severity of her injuries, physical and emotional.
The idea of raising this amount of money is daunting, but any little bit helps. My mother is way too preoccupied with how she is going to figure how to pay for her bills. Right now, her mind needs to be on getting herself healthy again.
