Hi, my name is Yasmine el wahabi and I’m the founder of PawsforMorocco and Cairokittyy.

I started this project because of the countless stray cats I’ve seen in Morocco who struggle every day for food, safety, and medical care and there’s simply not enough shelters in Morocco. My dream is to  build a shelter in Morocco where these cats can be fed, treated, and loved.

Right now, I’m based in London and working full-time, so I can’t yet be there on the ground. But I’ve created a Shelter Fund — every donation goes directly into saving towards that goal. Step by step, with your help, we’ll build the resources needed to support Moroccan strays with food, vet bills, and eventually, a safe shelter. Every year I go to Morocco and feed every stray I encounter.
