Meet Apollo!! We recently adopted this lovebug from Wet Noses Foster Paws in Tacoma, who unfortunately did not take his vomiting seriously enough to test for diseases or infections before they adopted him out to us. His symptoms worsened with us, we took him in to the vet and unfortunately received the dreaded positive Parvo test. He’s been a champ so fair and is in excellent hands at Old Growth Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, where he’s been hospitalized. Although we anticipated new puppy costs, Parvo treatments are expensive and our pet insurance only covers up to $2,000. Currently our estimated vet bills are looking to be around $9,000.

The rescue unfortunately declined to financially reimburse our medical bills, despite Apollo being sick when they adopted him out to us. Any bit helps as we cross our fingers that Apollo puts up a good fight.
