Hello,
I am Kaitlyn Roberts. I competed in the National American Miss pageant in July and was named first runner up in the preteen division. NAM is a program that promotes leadership skills. I was required to develop a resume, do volunteer service, speak publicly in front of a large group, interview with five judges, and demonstrate poise in an evening gown.
I also competed in optionals and won trophies for heart of service, spokesmodel, talent,actress,casual wear, and top model. The trophy that meant the most to me was first place for " Heart of Service ". I donated over 350 hours the past two years to volunteering. I made Build a Bears for blind children, small children getting heart transplants, and have taken bears to orphanages because I believe everyone needs something to hold close when they are scared. Additionally I tutored students on reading skills, packed care boxes for " May No Solider go Unloved" , participated in school projects like the Empty Bowl and Socktober- to get socks for the Homeless. I enjoyed starting a "Kids for Kindness" club and accomplished activities.
I have the opportunity to go to Florida for a week at Thanksgiving and represent the city of Hamilton at the National NAM convention . and compete against other states in the National All American Miss pageant. I would really appreciate your help as a sponsor. I am grateful for my friends and family. Any donation is tax deductible.
