Emily and Michael’s newborn has already survived THREE major surgeries — and he’s only 2 months old.

Emily and Michael’s world turned upside down when her beautiful baby boy, Jaxon, was born with multiple life-threatening conditions. Instead of heading home with a healthy baby, they've spent as much time as possible in the hospital watching their son fight to survive.

Jaxon’s Journey So Far:

At just 2 days old, Jaxon had his first emergency surgery to fix a trachea esophageal fistula — his throat wasn’t connected to his stomach.

Recently, he had a second surgery to place a feeding tube directly into his stomach.

Soon to come, he’s scheduled for a tracheotomy so he can breathe safely.

But this is only the beginning...

Jaxon still needs:

Open heart surgery ❤️

Cataract surgery ️

Cleft lip & palate repair

And possibly more surgeries down the road.

Doctors expect Jaxon will be in the hospital for at least another month, if not longer. Emily and Michael have had to go back to work juggling being parents of a son already, work, and being at the hospital. They are facing mounting expenses, and navigating medical crises every day is overwhelming.
