Millie's Vet Treatment

On Sunday 3rd February, Richard was taking Millie for a walk on the green adjacent to the Vale Street recycling center in West Norwood when she was set upon by another dog that lock jawed; she sustained terrible injuries.  Millie was taken to the emergency vets in Streatham and underwent a 4hr surgery to try and save her front leg.  She is being kept at the vets, on a drip, where they are monitoring her injuries for possible infection.  She may require further surgery but at this stage, the important thing is to keep her calm, comfortable and as pain free as possible.

The family had only just got their cat Sunny back after he had been stolen and abused resulting in separate costs and this is an additional unexpected expense which is likely to increase as Millie remains in care, and if she requires further surgery.

I have set up this fundraiser to help the family towards the current cost of the surgery so far and the after care.
