Joe Williams Brain Cancer
At the end of October, Joe was extremely tired, forgetting things, and suffering from headaches, he went to the emergency room and was admitted to the hospital and within 3 days was told he has Glioblastoma Multiform (GBM), the most aggressive form of brain cancer which is inoperable and there is no cure. He was told in October that he has three to six months to live.
He started chemo and radiation to help ease his headaches and slow down the growth of the tumors.
A few days after Christmas, Joe’s health declined. He was almost unable to use the left side of his body and therefore needed help doing everyday things we take for granted being able to do on our own. He went to the emergency room and was admitted back in the hospital for a week. Luckily the medicine he was given, allowed him to go home. In order to stay at home, he needs someone to be with him and that can be costly. He will very soon need hospice care.
As you can imagine, the medicals bills are mounting. His wife, Terri, has already had to take multiple days off of work without pay. Terri & Joe were reluctant asking for help, but his cancer has been financially devastating. Apart from losing his livelihood, the day to day expenses have become overwhelming.
I am telling this story for my sister-in-law, Terri - as the only thing that can be done is to ASK for help and prayers.
Except for the small processing fee charged by GoFundMe, 100% of donations made to this site will go for Joe’s medical needs and daily care.
Thank you very much for considering a donation.
