We are starting this page on behalf of the Tully family.
On Sunday July 15th Daina was rushed to Kingston General Hospital
and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit for complications due to
Cystic Fibrosis. Daina is 27 years old and is currently waiting to be
transferred to Toronto for a possible double lung transplant.
The next few months are going to be difficult for the Tully family.
in order for the family to be able to care for and support Daina in
her recovery they require additional financial support.
Understandably Daina's mother will be unable to work during this time as she will need to be there to support and care for her daughter.
We would like the Tully family to be able to focus on Diana's health and recovery not about fiances. This is where you come in!
We are raising money to assist the family with travel, accommodations and health care needs during this time.
Thank You for your support.
What is Cystic Fibrosis?
Cystic Fibrosis or CF is a genetic disease that causes sever damage to the lungs, digestive system and other organs in the body. CF causes an
abnormal amount of excessively thick and sticky mucus within the
lungs, airways and digestive system. The secretions (or mucus) plug up tubes, ducts and passage ways, especially in the lungs and pancreas.
There is no cure for CF but there are some treatments that can help to ease symptoms and reduce complications and when these treatments
stop working, a lung transplant is often required.
