Help Our Ponies

UPDATE From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank every single person that has donated so far if there are any companies out there with surplus gravel, fencing or anything that would help, can you please get in touch. We need help:

On Saturday at 10pm the amazing staff and helpers of St Leonards Riding School had to evacuate around 50 ponies and horses to dry land and risked their own lives.

The horses have moved from their home in Long Eaton to other areas of Nottingham thanks to some very kind people that have come forward to help with land.

Our beloved stables has been DESTROYED

it’s completely under water, all the equipment has floated away. Stables ruined. The newly laid tarmac has gone due to the force of the water. The field/paddock fencing is gone or damaged.

This is an hub of so many children’s lives, childhood and their futures

I am a livery at this stables and have been for a few years. These guys are AMAZING and do not deserve this.

They give so much to the local community, so please can we support them to get this riding school back up and running.

Anything will help. They are not insured for ‘an act of nature’ so please let’s help x
