As most of you know, I have been battling this virus/infection/severe respiratory disfunction since February 11th. My recovery has been slow but I'm optimistic and positive that this too shall pass. I'm in need of aggressive IV therapy at this point because I don't have an immune system to fight anything off and I have to see a pulmonologist for my decreased lung function frequently.
Just received an email that my insurance won't cover the IV therapy because its considered Nonessential (holistic). And I pay copays to my Primary Physician, as well as my Pulmonology Specialist when I go which has been frequent.
Nothing else is working for me, so my Physician wants to try a different approach.
I'm on fmla at my job where I receive 50% of my salary after deductions. It barely covers my basic bills. I can't afford to pay for my needed treatments out of pocket at this moment. I'm supposed to go 3 times a week for 30 days. Its hard to ask for help, my pride is all in the way. But, God layed it on my heart to just ask my family and friends. I know it's a tough time for all so any amount will help no matter how big or small.
