Hi everyone, I’ve been lucky enough to come across a great opportunity for an even better low income housing situation than I am currently in, however, I am reaching out for help because I need to raise as much money as I can for my deposit in a pinch. Anything helps.

Let me tell you more about why this opportunity is important to me:

I am currently living in a small room, which I have been most grateful for, with my cat. Although that is the case, I am eager to be in a home of my own. After about 5 months living in the home I’m currently in, my cat / emotional support animal (whom I heavily rely on) has been increasingly experiencing discomfort and a decline in her support behaviors towards me because the dog we live with is aggressive towards her and she is subjected to minimal free-roaming time in the home. The amount of space here is also no longer deeming to be tolerable, and as time passes, it is hindering my mental health more and more which I have already been receiving professional treatment for. I can afford rent for this new apartment each month, although, I am being asked to pay 2x my rent for the first month because of the deposit factor. the goal that I have set for this gofundme is the exact amount I will need to make this work. I am also still paying for rent in my current home until I am moved out. I am currently investing time trying to work for this money of course, so if I have exceeded the amount of donations needed for my goal at any point, I will be returning funds that I won’t need.
