Roland Law is a beloved member of our community at the Tannery Arts Center. I am one of the many neighbors who care about this generous man. Roland is fighting stage 4 cancer. Even with insurance, the bills are piling up. Roland and his wife Violeta are the heart and soul of this community. Roland exchanges labor for fresh organic food at the Farmers Market and brings it to share with all 260 neighbors, every week! It's because of Roland that we were inspired to create a pantry with food available to residents 24/7 -year round. Roland routinely visits neighbors who are home-bound. He picks up and delivers food bags for seniors. He knows our kids as well as their parents and is a trusted mentor for both. For 15 years, Roland and Violeta have come to every cleanup and do the really nasty work!
