Support Oreo’s Urgent Medical Care

On Friday, October 25th, my sweet Oreo was scheduled for a procedure at her vet to help diagnose a chronic condition that has worsened significantly this year. Despite numerous attempts, no one has been able to accurately diagnose or treat her.

In July, her symptoms took a turn for the worse. Oreo has lost nearly 3 pounds, struggles to breathe, has a chronic cough, and faces other challenges. So far, no treatments have provided relief.

Before her scheduled procedure, she underwent an x-ray, and that’s when my worst fears began to unfold. The vet discovered a severe narrowing of her trachea, and the procedure had to be called off. Now, Oreo is set to see an oncologist on November 1st, where they suspect a mediastinal mass and a secondary respiratory infection. During this appointment, they will likely perform a CT scan with a biopsy, which is expected to cost around $4,000, including fees and other diagnostics. These costs do not include any treatment.

Oreo has been my light and has brought more joy into my life than I ever imagined possible. She truly completes my heart, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to help her through this. Please, if you can, take a moment to read her story.
