A mission organization created to use the passion we have for baseball as a platform to share our faith and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Baseball 4 Christ is excited to announce the 2016 mission trip to the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. The dates for the trip this year will be June 18 – June 25.
In addition to playing at the professional stadium, home to the Quintana Roo Tigres of the Mexican Baseball League, we will play three other games, one on the island of Isla Mujeres. The week will consist of baseball clinics, visits to schools and worship services with the community, working at youth baseball fields in and around Cancun and visits to cardboard city and squatters village.
Mike Winslett and Brian Morgan started Baseball 4 Christ in 2009. We took our first mission trip in June 2010 to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Since then God has used this ministry to distribute Bibles, work with pastors and churches, visit schools, provide instructional baseball clinics, reach many families in the poorest areas of Mexico and the US, in addition to sharing the Gospel.
Baseball4Christ has represented over twenty-five churches and multiple denominations, colleges and high schools. Student athletes have been discipled and empowered to fulfill the Great Commission, as well as serve wherever God has led us.
Baseball4Christ has been very successful on the field, but it’s not just about winning the game, but more about serving the Lord. This ministry has helped to change the lives of many of the young men as they have grown in their faith and become more prepared for life’s challenges. It has also touched the lives of many children and families in the areas where we have ministered.
