My brother in-law was in a bad accident

Hello my name is Misty as some of you know my Brother in-law Nick was involved in a very bad accident Saturday Night. I am going to explain everything that is going on then ill explain what the money thats being raised is going for.....
Nick was struck by a car while on his bike. His injuries where so bad they had to call air lift. Normally they try and get the person stable before they life flight you. When Nick was put in the helicopter he was not stable. They had no choice they needed to get him to Grant in Columbus for the help he needs.. It took them 10hrs to get him stable to even began working on him. Nick ended up getting a broken neck, upper spine broke, lower spine, his left leg the bones where shattered, his right/hip where also damaged from the accident. His right hip isn't even attached to anything! When Nick was finally stable enough for surgery the Truma Doctors started with Nicks neck. Once they got the plate and screws in his neck then moved down to his upper back to get plates and screws in place. Nick was doing well during all that so they decided to try and see if they can save Nicks bones in his left leg. When the doctors was able to get in to his leg they noticed the bones where to damaged so they decided it was best to put a rode down his leg. As of right now June 23rd he is stable still. He doesn't want to wake up so he has been sleeping. June 24th Nick will go under surgery again. This time they are going to work on his lower spine. They still arent sure about his right hip yet. They need to get in to see what damage is really done and what they can do to fix it so as of right now his right hip is in the air..
Nick has 3 kids... 2 of his kids already lost their mother at a young age. its alot on the family. Due to his mother Leslie having to miss work while she is with her son is going to take a big tool on the family...The money we raise is going to help with bills since Leslie is going to be out of work for a while with being at the hospital with her son. NO ONE is aloud there besides her with this COVID-19 in place not only that they have to watch with infections since they had to do spine work.. Also the money raised with go towards gas to get back in forth to the hospital. Nick has a long way to go to a full recovery. We are thankful he is alive! His kids are thankful he is alive since 2 kids already lost a mom they cant handle losing their father as well... Anything will help. I want to Thank everyone who took the time to read this.
