Help Ease the Burden of Bills

On April 12th I took bad fall and broke my ankle. I went to the hospital and was told it had a lot of fractures and I needed surgery that day. I had my first surgery which was an external fixator to keep the joint stable and bones in place. I was in the fixator for 3 weeks and not able to put any weight on it. I had my 2nd surgery on my ankle where the doctor removed bone fragments and put in 19 pins that stick out and are connected to another external fixture. The pins go from my bones to the fixator to help it heal in place. I’m still is not able to walk or put any weight on it.
I am getting ready for my 3rd surgery on July 3rd to have the fixation device removed after having it for about 2 months. I will have to recover from this surgery and they will be doing a 4th surgery in about another month to replace my ankle joint (total ankle replacement). Hopefully after a few weeks I’ll start PT and be back on my foot.
During these surgeries and recovery I have been unable to work as I can’t be on my feet long and need to elevate my ankle to avoid swelling. There are a lot of challenges I’m dealing with but I’m trying to keep a positive attitude.
I am not one to ask for help and am very reluctant to do so, however with the out of pocket expenses and lack of income, it’s been a struggle for me and my family to keep up with the bills. Anything you can contribute would greatly help and be much appreciated.
