Hi Everyone… This is Zach, Catherine’s son. My family and I are asking you to link arms with us in supporting my mom as she actively seeks emotional and physical healing. As you may know, last month she survived three trips to the ER, including a two-day stay in the Critical Care Unit to treat strokes and migraines. Thankfully, she received the emergency medical care needed to save her life! The recent and tragic loss of her sister and niece, in addition to the stress of continued unemployment, created the perfect storm. My mom is down, but she sure isn’t out!

The financial stressors of the past three years have taken a terrible toll on her. Many of you have asked the question: “How can we help?” Thankfully, she is now seeking the specialized trauma therapy she needs to be able to heal in all areas of her life. Unfortunately, this type of ongoing therapy is not covered by her insurance. If you know my mom, you know that she always puts the needs of others ahead of her own! She will spend her last dime, as well as all available time and resources, in helping to meet the needs of others, whether a family member, friend, or total stranger! But the time has come for her to focus on herself, and she is doing just that.
