My name is Michelle Merrigan and I have known the Miller family for almost ten years. I first met John in Hawaii in 2016, where we found that we shared the same vision for sustainable infrastructure for the Pacific islands. I then met and fell in love with Chelsea, John's wife, and his two little girls at the time - Kailani and Riley. John and Chelsea then adopted Miss Rosie. Years later, after we went into business to make our dream a reality, Chelsea was blessed with a baby boy - Atom - and I was honored to be named his Godmother.

This year has been devastating for the Miller family. Kailani (11), Riley (9), and Atom (4) lost their doting grandfather late last year. Then, in July of this year, they almost lost their mother, Chelsea, in a tragic motorcycle accident.

Chelsea was still recovering from the physical and mental toll of that accident when, on October 15, John (43) lost his life.

Chelsea, Kai, Riley, Atom, and Rosie have a long road ahead of them, but we are going to do everything we can to support the family. We are asking that in lieu of flowers, loved ones donate here to support the short- and long-term financial needs of the Miller family.

It really takes a village when the house is less full.
