Hello, my name is Shireen, and this is for my mum.

My mum was my anchor — the strongest, kindest person I’ve ever known. She raised me on her own after my dad passed away when I was very young, and she dedicated her life to giving me love, stability, and strength. Coming to the UK, she built our life from the ground up, facing every challenge with courage and grace.

She had a heart that cared for everyone around her — family, friends, even strangers. To know her was to feel warmth, humour, and compassion. I loved her deeply, and so did everyone who was lucky enough to cross her path.

She fought bravely until the very end but sadly lost her battle with cancer on the 15th of October. Though my heart aches, I want to honour her with the beautiful farewell she deserves — a celebration of her life, her strength, and the love she gave so freely.

It’s still early days but decisions are being made as we speak. When we know the date of the funeral, we will do our best to let everyone know. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to donate and share.
