In May 2015 Thomas Truesdale suffered a severe brain injury as his head hit pavement and his brain essentially "bounced around" inside his skull. After beating the odds and waking up after weeks of unconciousness, he is now facing a long and difficult battle as he slowly regains both functions and memory. He spent weeks in the hospital in Traverse City. He is now in Mary Free Bed Hospital in Grand Rapids and will likely be moved to a facility closer to home in the coming weeks. With mounting expenses, including medical bills and travel costs for his family, the financial burden is one we hope we can lessen for his family.
